Jorge Flores nació en 1978, en Guayaquil. Estudió Cine y Televisión en la Universidad de San Francisco, en Quito. Dirigió y colaboró en diversos cortometrajes premiados (ficción y documental), en Ecuador y en Argentina. Dirigió vídeos para exposiciones de arte en el Museo de la Ciudad, en Quito, donde también trabajó como diseñador de sonido y director de comunicación. Fue miembro de la comisión seleccionadora de películas en la V edición del Festival de Documental EDOC, en Ecuador. Termina actualmente una maestría en Cine Documental en la Universidad del Cine, en Buenos Aires, y trabaja como colaborador de revistas y periódicos.
Jorge Flores was born on 1978, in Guayquil, Ecuador. He studied Cinema and Television, at the University of San Francisco, in Quito. In Ecuador and in Argentina, he directed and worked in several award short films (fiction and documentary) and long plays. He directed videos for artistic exhibitions in the Museum of the City, in Quito, where he also worked as a sound designer and communication director. He was a member of the commission of selection at the fifth edition of the documentary festival Edoc. At the present time, he is finishing his master in Documentary Cinema at the Universidad del Cine, in Buenos Aires and works for newspapers and magazines.
